With blanching you can:<\/p>\n<p>Cooking tasty warm salads and wok.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Making aromatic herbs sauces with impressive green colour.<\/li>\n<li>Peel tomatoes easily.<\/li>\n<li>Freezing fruit &amp; vegetables.<\/li>\n<li>Create your own pickles.<\/li>\n<li>Make candied fruit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How to do it?<\/h2>\n<p>It will just take you a few minutes, literally:<\/p>\n<p>Immerse the piece of food in boiling water for a <strong>short period<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>-15 seconds \u2013 aromatic herbs.<\/p>\n<p>-1 to 2 minutes \u2013 fruit.<\/p>\n<p>-2 to 5 minutes \u2013 vegetables.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-73710\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teka.com\/en-sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/135\/2021\/02\/c\u00f3mo-escaldar-verduras_enero4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"436\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Water must be<strong> boiling during the whole process<\/strong> to keep the right cooking time, so the flavour and colour change as less as possible. It is better to use small quantities of food in order to keep the temperature.<\/p>\n<p>Once we have reached the right blanching point, we must quickly plunge the pieces of food in a <strong>bowl with water and ice<\/strong> cubes to stop the cooking process.
