1924 – 1957<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Teka history began in 1924, when Karl Thielman founded an agricultural machinery company in Germany, and focused on this sector for the first years.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Shortly after, he began to work in stainless steel, an essential step forward in the history of the corporation.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

In 1957, Helmut Klein joined the company as a partner. It was then when Teka was created as a trade mark, with the initials of both of their founders, Thielmann & Klein.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

1924-1957<\/strong><\/h2>\n

La historia de la marca Teka se remonta al a\u00f1o 1924, a\u00f1o en el que Karl Thielmann funda una compa\u00f1\u00eda de maquinaria agr\u00edcola en Alemania, sector en el que centra su actividad la empresa durante sus primeros a\u00f1os de vida.<\/p>\n

Poco despu\u00e9s, comienza a trabajar en la producci\u00f3n de acero inoxidable, paso que result\u00f3 fundamental para la historia de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n

En 1957, Helmut Klein se incorpora a la empresa como socio. En aquel momento se crea la marca Teka, que adquiere su nombre de las iniciales de ambos fundadores, Thielmann & Klein.<\/p>\n

From then on, products under Teka name began to be sold. In the early days Teka just manufactured sinks. During the following years, the success of the products gave Teka the chance to expand their catalogue and to manufacture cookers, ovens and hoods.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

In 1964, Teka set up in Spain and began a large international expansion in the following years, first in Europe and in the rest of the continents afterwards. All along this period the range of products grew and achieved worldwide regognition, thanks to their design and high-quality products for kitchens and bathrooms.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

1958-1969<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A partir de ese momento, comienza a comercializarse producto bajo la marca Teka. En aquellos primeros a\u00f1os de vida de la marca, se fabrican solamente fregaderos. En los siguientes a\u00f1os, el \u00e9xito de los productos Teka hacen que la marca ampl\u00ede su cat\u00e1logo y comience a fabricar cocinas, hornos y campanas extractoras.<\/p>\n

En 1964 Teka se instala en Espa\u00f1a, y durante los siguientes a\u00f1os comienza una fuerte expansi\u00f3n internacional de la marca. Primero en Europa y despu\u00e9s en el resto de continentes. Durante ese periodo se contin\u00faa ampliando la gama de productos y la marca consigue alcanzar un reconocimiento mundial gracias a la calidad y dise\u00f1o de sus productos para cocina y ba\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

1970 – 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

From the 70s, the great success of the brand in the European markets where it was present, made it begin an extensive expansion at international level. First in the rest of European markets and later in America, Asia, Africa and Middle East.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

During this period, the brand turned into one of the biggest sport sponsors worldwide, sponsoring Real Madrid football club and basketball club, owning a handball club, starting a cyclist team, being part of the Paris-Dakar rally and even in the Winter Olympic Games.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Desde los a\u00f1os 70, el \u00e9xito de la marca en los mercados europeos en los que estaba presente propici\u00f3 su expansi\u00f3n a nivel internacional. Primero en el resto de mercados europeos y m\u00e1s adelante en Am\u00e9rica, Asia, \u00c1frica y Oriente Medio.<\/p>\n

Durante este periodo, Teka se convierte en uno de los mayores patrocinadores deportivos a nivel mundial, patrocinando al Real Madrid de f\u00fatbol y baloncesto, contando con su propio club de balonmano, equipo ciclista, compitiendo en el rally Par\u00eds Dakar, y hasta en los juegos ol\u00edmpicos de invierno.<\/p>\n

Teka launched the Wish range with all its home appliances in 2016, the largest investment in the history of the brand, upgrading all the factories and designs. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

In 2018, Teka introduced a new brand positioning and slogan: \u201cCook your way to life.\u201d For this event, Teka carried out the largest marketing campaign in its history, including a two minute short film directed by Goya-nominated director Marina Seresesky with music by Oscar winner Glen Hansard. Teka collaborates with the Alzheimer\u2019s Foundation Spain to create it. More than 13 million people watched the campaign film in the first month, making it a milestone in the industry and Spain\u2019s third-most-watched campaign of the year.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

In 2019, Teka updated its logo to complete the brand image change brought on by the new slogan and positioning.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

En el a\u00f1o 2016, Teka lanza la gama Wish en todos sus electrodom\u00e9sticos, que supone la mayor inversi\u00f3n de la compa\u00f1\u00eda en su historia, renovando todas sus f\u00e1bricas y dise\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

En 2018, Teka presenta su nuevo posicionamiento y slogan de marca, \u201cDonde se cocina la vida\u201d. Con motivo de ello, realiza la mayor campa\u00f1a de publicidad en su historia, para la que realiza un cortometraje de dos minutos dirigido por la directora nominada al Goya Marina Seresesky, y con m\u00fasica del ganador de un \u00d3scar Glen Hansard. Para elaborar esta campa\u00f1a, colabora con la Fundaci\u00f3n Alzheimer Espa\u00f1a. El v\u00eddeo de la campa\u00f1a recibe m\u00e1s 13 millones de visualizaciones en el primer mes, convirti\u00e9ndose en un hito en su sector y en la tercera campa\u00f1a m\u00e1s vista del a\u00f1o en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

En 2019, Teka actualiza su logo para completar el cambio en su imagen de marca, tras el nuevo slogan y nuevo posicionamiento.<\/p>\n

En 2020, Teka comienza a patrocinar y colaborar con diferentes museos de arte alrededor del mundo. 1970-2015<\/strong><\/h2>\n

From the 70s, the great success of the brand in the European markets where it was present, made it begin an extensive expansion at international level. First in the rest of European markets and later in America, Asia, Africa and Middle East.<\/span><\/p>\n

During this period, the brand turned into one of the biggest sport sponsors worldwide, sponsoring Real Madrid football club and basketball club, owning a handball club, starting a cyclist team, being part of the Paris-Dakar rally and even in the Winter Olympic Games.<\/span><\/p>\n

2016 – 2020<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Teka launched the Wish range with all its home appliances in 2016, the largest investment in the history of the brand, upgrading all the factories and designs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2018, Teka introduced a new brand positioning and slogan: “Cook your way to life.” For this event, Teka carried out the largest marketing campaign in its history, including a two minute short film directed by Goya-nominated director Marina Seresesky with music by Oscar winner Glen Hansard. Teka collaborates with the Alzheimer’s Foundation Spain to create it. More than 13 million people watched the campaign film in the first month, making it a milestone in the industry and Spain’s third-most-watched campaign of the year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Teka launches its new design concept: Infinity Design. Under the claim “Everyone deserves a great design,” the brand presents a new project to bring the finest design to every home.\u00a0
\nTeka began to sponsor and collaborate with different art museums around the world, like Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid, Museo de Arte Moderno in Buenos Aires (MAMBA), Museo Europeo de Arte Moderno (MEAM), or Museo Franz Meier in Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2022, Teka brought out its largest campaign so far with the launch of the SteakMaster oven. The campaign has received over 25 million views.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
