Teka: architecture for the present and the future<\/span><\/h2>\n

Being part of the movement and making a social impact to <\/span>enhance<\/b> the quality of life for thousands of people has been the driving force behind Teka\u2019s relationship with <\/span>architecture<\/b> across several continents. The brand has played a significant role in the creation of iconic projects worldwide:<\/span><\/p>\n

Projects and civil constructions around the world<\/span><\/h2>\n

Teka has played a prominent role in constructions such as <\/span>Terminal T4 at Adolfo Su\u00e1rez Madrid-Barajas Airport<\/b>, featuring the company\u2019s water fountains and taps. Alsdo, the <\/span>Santiago Bernab\u00e9u Stadium<\/b> in the same city, equipped with Teka refrigerators. These are two landmarks essential to the city\u2019s development. Teka products are also part of other renowned structures<\/a> across Europe, including NATO\u2019s headquarters in <\/span>Brussels<\/b>, the European Investment Bank in <\/span>Luxembourg<\/b>, Heathrow Airport in <\/span>London<\/b>, and the Black Diamond library in <\/span>Copenhagen<\/b>, where the bathrooms feature Teka equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Terminal<\/p>\n

The brand is part of prominent buildings renowned for their flawless <\/span>architectural design.<\/b> Some examples are the Laguna de la Pir\u00e1mide residential project and the Nueva Kennedy residential towers, both in <\/span>Santiago de Chile<\/b>. In <\/span>Ecuador<\/b>, the cities of <\/span>Cumbay\u00e1, Quito,<\/b> and <\/span>Manta<\/b> feature apartment and office complexes where Teka has also made its mark as part of the interior design equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teka has contributed to the creation of numerous residential projects across Asia, being present in iconic architectural designs in cities such as <\/span>Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City<\/b>, and <\/span>Kuala Lumpur<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company\u2019s work has also been related to hotel projects built in Egypt, Abu Dhabi, and <\/span>Ras al-Khaimah<\/b>, which have fueled financial expansion and economic growth in these regions. Teka also participated in several urban challenges, such as Princess Tower. This is the world’s second-tallest residential building, at 414 metres tall and 101 floors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Art as expression and inspiration for Teka<\/span><\/h2>\n

Teka has also collaborated with various art-related organisations to promote their works. Over these 100 years, the brand has participated in exhibitions at museums such as the <\/span>Museo Franz Mayer<\/b> in <\/span>Mexico<\/b>, the <\/span>Museo Europeo de Arte Moderno <\/b>in <\/span>Barcelona<\/b>, and the <\/span>Museo Moderno<\/b> in <\/span>Buenos Aires<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most significant partnerships was Teka\u2019s sponsorship of the <\/span>Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza<\/b> in <\/span>Madrid<\/b>, which featured a thematic exhibition for visitors entitled ‘<\/span>Gastronomy<\/a>‘. The tour showcased works from the 15th to the 20th century. The seventeen pieces of art demonstrate the close relationship between gastronomy, emotions, and their historical relevance. This itinerary<\/a> reflected the gastronomy and art link, a key factor in many of the company\u2019s most important designs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teka <\/span>sinks<\/a>, for instance, represent advancements in design within their sector and remain one of the company’s most popular products in many Spanish households, embracing <\/span>innovation<\/b> as one of the main values of the brand.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teka has actively collaborated with architects and designers outside its usual field of work. The goal was to gain inspiration and disrupt traditional trends, offering different solutions in the design of appliances and <\/span>taps.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Infinity Design: German technology, Italian design<\/span><\/h2>\n

In 2022, <\/span>Teka<\/b> took the next step by collaborating with the prestigious Italian design studio <\/span>Italdesign Giugiaro<\/a>, renowned for its iconic car designs for brands such as Lamborghini, Maserati, BMW, and Volkswagen. The combination of German technology and Italian design resulted in the<\/span> Infinity | G1 Edition<\/a> appliance series. This exclusive, high-quality line was awarded the 2023<\/span> IF Design Award<\/b>, a mark of excellence in design, among other accolades. This successful collection is present in 37 countries, and Teka documented its creation and implementation process in the film “<\/span>Back to the Black Matte<\/a>.” This initiative offers a new perspective on interior design for the kitchen, bringing innovative <\/span>design<\/a> right to your table.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Infinity<\/p>\n

The new FullBlack<\/a> line showcases the innovative use of black in the kitchen, incorporating materials and finishes like glass. It accents the space with details such as stainless steel, bringing a fresh, distinct, classic, and elegant touch.<\/span><\/p>\n

Innovation and design for your home, our motivation to keep growing<\/span><\/h2>\n

Award committees often recognise Teka’s creative solutions, meticulously crafted to create the kitchen you desire, for their technology and aesthetics. The most recent awards were given for products as the <\/span>MasterSense Air <\/b>hob.<\/a> The revolutionary induction hob includes an integrated hood in the hob, offering a functional and discreet solution for all kitchens. In 2023, it won three of the world’s top design awards: the European Product Design Awards<\/b>, recognising the best in European design each year; the Good Design Awards<\/b>, one of the longest-standing design awards in the world; and the International Design Awards<\/b>, showcasing visionary design talent.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Copper-coloured<\/p>\n

The SteakMaster oven has also been recognised with an honourable mention at the <\/span>Design Intelligence Award<\/b>, one of the most prestigious international competitions, thanks to its exclusive technology and design. We carried out this development in collaboration with Michelin-starred chefs, in a quest to combine art, gastronomy, design,<\/strong> and functionality.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
