Other important aspects when choosing which hood to buy are the size and the extraction capacity of the hood. It must be at least as wide as the cooktop and therefore, we have hoods from 40 cm to 120 cm wide.<\/p>\n

In addition, we must take into account that the hood must be at least 65 cm above the gas hobs and 60 cm above the electric hobs. In any case, we recommend checking the installation instructions of the hood, in case the distance should be greater.<\/span><\/p>\n

Installation<\/h2>\n

The vented hoods move the air from the kitchen to outside whereas recirculation hoods use several types of filters to clean the air, and then recirculates the air into the kitchen.
