Island hoods

Built-in hoods
For the most discreet kitchens, we offer a range of built-in cooker hoods. If you opt for a built-in hood, it will perfectly match all your kitchen fittings so that it is practically invisible. Within our range of built-in kitchen extractor hoods, you will find classic hoods with models featuring 1 or 2 extraction motors and telescopic hoods which allow you to increase the extraction area when you most need it and therefore enjoy a smoke and odour free kitchen. The sizes of Teka’s built-in extractor hoods vary according to the model from 55-cm hoods to 90-cm built-in cooker hoods.
How do I know which hood I should choose?
When buying your kitchen hood, there are several factors that you have to consider. You need to buy an extractor hood which at the very least is as wide as your hob. With regards to extraction capabilities, there is a simple formula which consists in multiplying the surface area of your kitchen (m2) by the height of your kitchen in order to calculate its volume (m3). Once you have this number, you multiply it by 12 and the product is the extraction capability needed for your kitchen’s extractor hood.
Which hood is the easiest to clean?
The hoods which are easiest to clean are those with filters which can be put in dishwashers and whose exterior is visible, easily-accessible and made with easy-to-clean materials such as stainless steel.
