How does a condenser tumble dryer work?

Condenser tumble dryers heat the air via a heating element. This air then enters the appliance’s drum where the clothes are. At the same time, the air which is full of humidity goes into a cooler which turns the humidity into water, which is then deposited in a container or is removed via a water outlet. As a result, the tumble dryer reuses the air in a more efficient way.

Heat pump tumble dryers work like a condenser dryer but instead of heating the air with the use of heating elements, they do so with a heat pump. By using this system, the appliance becomes much more efficient.
