Grilled beef tacos

Sizzling beef, fresh veggies and warm tortillas — these tacos come with everything you love and none of the stress. Perfect for impressing without overthinking. Bonus: all done on the EliteGrill.

Ingredients

  • 400 g beef entrecôte (thick cut)
  • 1 red onion
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/4 zucchini
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Taco seasoning
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 6 corn tortillas
  • Fresh coriander
  • Lime and/or lemon wedges
  • Guacamole (optional)

Preparation

  1. Peel and slice the onion thinly.
  2. Dice the pepper and zucchini into small, bite-sized pieces.
  3. Season the veggies lightly with taco seasoning.
  4. Sauté each veggie separately in a pan with olive oil until al dente. Keep warm.
  5. Brush the beef with oil, season with salt and pepper, and grill on the EliteGrill until cooked to your liking.
  6. Slice the steak thinly.
  7. Grill the corn tortillas for a few seconds per side.
  8. Assemble the tacos with veggies and beef.
  9. Serve immediately with lime, fresh coriander and guacamole if you're feeling fancy.

Chef's tip!

Don’t overcrowd the grill — give the steak space to shine. And if you want to take it up a notch, heat the guacamole slightly. Yes, warm guac is a thing. Try it.
