In fact, we are so confident about the quality and durability of our sinks that we offer a lifetime guarantee on all our models.
Undermount sinks
If you have a stone, granite or ceramic kitchen, buying an undermount sink is the perfect option. The sink is installed and sealed underneath the worktop by using special clips, which are included for assembling it. This form of installation is easy and also prevents dirt and grime from building up around or underneath the lips of the sink. Thanks to this form of installation, we don’t lose any space for preparing foods and the sink is left completely integrated within the worktop.
Inset sinks
An inset sink represents the most traditional way of installing a sink given that you only need to lower it into a hole which has been previously cut out from the worktop. The lips of Teka’s inset sinks rest on top of the worksurface and the bowl is suspended underneath without the need for any screws. Buying a Teka inset sink is the most versatile option given that they can be installed in any worktop with fantastic results.
Stainless steel sinks
In terms of design, at Teka we offer a large variety of models and finishes made from the most robust stainless steel. It is thanks to this material that these sinks are clean, quiet and durable. In our catalogue, you will find sinks of varying shapes and sizes. Single or double bowl sinks and sinks with drainers. Buy the Teka stainless steel sink which best suits your kitchen and your needs.
Stone sinks
Teka’s Tegranite sink range offers a perfect work area for anyone looking for innovation, practicality and usability in the kitchen. Made from 80% quartz combined with acrylic resin, the result is a hardened material which is resistant to sudden temperature changes. When you buy a Teka stone sink, you will find many benefits. These sinks have non-porous surfaces, meaning they are easy to clean, and they are also scratch proof. What’s more, their surfaces are fortified with silver ions which repel bacteria and microorganisms. Available in a large range of non-fading colours so they always look brand new.
Ceramic sinks
If you want to give your kitchen a touch of elegance and steer away from conventionalism, check out Teka’s glass ceramic sinks. A unique option for your home with sophisticated and pioneering designs which offer you multiple combinations.
What is an undermount sink?
Undermount sinks are fitted underneath your worksurface unlike inset sinks which are lowered into a hole in the worktop by resting the sink’s lips on top of the worksurface. Undermount sinks are fitted underneath so that they aren’t resting on top of the worksurface and thus the sink is perfectly integrated.
What are the advantages of an undermount sink?
You will utilise more space given that the lips of an undermount sink do not stick out on top of the worksurface. Also, given there are no joints, dirt cannot build up underneath them unlike other sink types.
