The water heater leaks through the safety valve

The safety valve allows to relieve the excess pressure of the water heater, for this reason it is common to drip in the heating process. The higher the temperature, the higher the pressure and the more risk of dripping.

To prevent this from being a problem, in the instruction manual we recommend that you install a drain tube on the valve that leads the water to a drain. Another option is to install a glass of expansion between the safety valve and the thermos that is able to dampen the excess pressure generated in the heating.

Refer to the instruction manual included with your device in case there is any special indication for your concrete thermos model.
