Mastersense induction hobs and PremiumCare dishwashers have been named winners at the only awards in Spain where consumers annually select the top innovations on the market.
The organisation Product of the Year has awarded Teka, the leading German brand for integral kitchen solutions, with honours in two of its 45 categories. The first award was given for the MasterSense induction hob, which facilitates the cooking of any dish from start to finish thanks to its 8 rapid functions and temperature sensors. Its FullFlex technology along with its 320-mm XL paella zone make it the perfect combination for preparing paellas at home for up to 12 people. And if that weren’t enough, you can use all its surface at the same time as well as cook with different-sized pans and at different temperatures.
Teka, forever at the forefront of smart features and programmes, has also taken home another award in the dishwasher category for its PremiumCare series, which guarantees total hygiene for any crockery. The merging of its IonClean technology, which neutralises bacteria by up to 99.9%, along with its Hygiene programme, which eliminates all types of bacteria with its high temperatures, allows for completely sterilised dishes. And all of this with greater speed thanks to the 1-hour programme, which includes washing and drying, and the Express function which reduces programme length for any crockery that is not so grimy by up to 30%. All this dishwashing proves to run quietly thanks to the Whisper programme, which cuts noise by 30% – at just 42 decibels. Lastly, this quietness is also down to its T-Inverter motor, which is one of the most efficient and durable motors on the market.
Product of the Year is present in over 40 countries around the world, including Spain. Its selection process is conducted in a rigorous and impartial manner. Every year, an online survey is carried out which details the opinions of over 10,000 people, who are representative of the Spanish population. This is in addition to the results of the product testing carried out by 100 people per product.
Prior to the consumer vote, candidate products for each edition are screened by the Ethics Committee, which is made up of innovation specialists who are not affiliated to any brand, and which takes on the task of grouping the products into homogenous categories. During the online survey, consumers answer 2 questions: how innovative they consider the product to be and how much they intend to buy each participating product.
Following the 22nd edition of these awards, Teka is once again consolidating its commitment to unveiling innovative products so that users can share meaningful moments.
