Green beans with Ricotta cheese

3 is our magic number in the kitchen. With only 3 ingredients we will cook many delicious recipes to take advantage of the forgotten foods in our refrigerator, to optimize most of our shopping cart. Today, we have some green beans with creamy Ricotta and a touch of citrus, that will awake all your senses.

Ingredients

  • Green beans, cut: 300 g
  • Ricotta: 200 g
  • Extra virgin olive oil: 2 tablespoon
  • Salt: 1 pinch
  • Lemon zest: 1 teaspoon
  • Ground pepper
  • Lemon slices

Preparation

  1. Cut the beans into strips. Put them in a grill pan on medium-high heat for about 1 minutes until they are toasted. Make sure to flip them to cook evenly.
  2. Place the ricotta in a bowl with oil, salt and lemon zest and beat with a whisk.
  3. Spread the sauce on a large plate and place the green beans over it.

Chef's tip!

Serve with a dash of oil and black pepper to taste.
